Getting to Madeline Island is... half the fun!

Most visitors to Madeline Island drive to picturesque Bayfield, Wisconsin, where they board the regularly scheduled ferries which take passengers and their vehicles on the 20-minute trip (no reservations required).If you arrive by plane, boat or on foot, please call us. We may be able to arrange transportation to the course.

Approximate drive time is 8 hours.

From Milwaukee

Approximate drive time is 7 hours.

From Madison

Approximate drive time is 6 hours.

From Minneapolis/St. Paul

Approximate drive time is 4 hours.

Madeline Island features a 3,000 foot blacktop landing strip that can accommodate private and chartered aircraft.
